TPCC skeptical of KCR’s promise on free fertilisers
Telangana | Written by : Suryaa DeskHyderabad : Expressing doubts over Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s statement, on providing free fertilisers to the farmers from the next budget session onwards, TPCC Kisan Cell Chairman M Kodanda Reddy alleged that the State government had neglected the agriculture sector in the three year rule.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Friday, Kodanda Reddy said the State government should implement the free issue of fertilisers from this Kharif season instead of next budget session. Questioning the State government on why it failed to review the input subsidy, drought relief funds and loan waiver scheme, Kodanda Reddy demanded that the State government solve the problems faced by the farmers immediately.
