TS: Pending funds for state released by Central govt

The Central government on Monday released Rs 450 crore pending funds related to backward districts development for the 2018-19 financial year.According to the provisions of AP Reorganisation Act, 2014, the Centre should give backward districts development funds to nine districts every year, but these were delayed for the current financial year.Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao during his recent New Delhi visit requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitely for early release of the pending funds.
