Senior leaders of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Monday asserted that the development of the State would be possible only under TRS government.R&B Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao, Mahabubabad MP A Seetaram Naik, Pinapaka Assembly TRS candidate Payam Venkateshwarlu and others were speaking at a meeting of party workers in Allapalli and Gundala mandals in the district.

Referring to grand alliance being formed by Congress, TDP, CPI and others, the Minister said no alliance would be capable of facing the TRS in ensuing elections. MP Seetaram Naik also expressed similar view and said no alliance could stand before KCR.The Minister asked the party men to counter opposition parties’ allegations against TRS government by explaining the achievements of the KCR government. During the last four-and-half years, Telangana witnessed rapid growth in all spheres, he added.

Many governments in other States had been emulating Telangana in introducing programmes for public welfare. However, the leaders of opposition parties like Congress and TDP had failed to see the initiatives, Nageswara Rao said.

He appealed to the voters to elect the TRS nominees enabling KCR to become the Chief Minister for the second time. The leaders gave suggestions on how to conduct campaign and counter opposition parties’ allegations against the TRS leadership. Seetaram Naik told the workers the government had issued RoFR pattas to 91,000 podu farmers.

Such achievements of the State government have to be taken to every door step in the constituency since it has got large number of tribal voters. It also helps to counter Congress leaders’ half-truths that TRS government was snatching away podu lands, the MP explained.

At Markodu village, over 200 families from different political parties joined TRS.
