Prajakutami partners campaigning themselves Nalgonda?

The grand alliance parties might not have arrived at a seat-sharing arrangement but, to the confusion of voters supporting the alliance, this has not stopped ticket aspirants in each party from campaigning as if they were already the candidate. On paper, the Congress, TDP, TJS and CPI might be only the same page, but the absence of a formal seat sharing agreement has confused voters in erstwhile Nalgonda.

At Kodad constituency, B Mallaiah Yadav from TDP and Congress’ incumbent N Padmavathi Reddy (wife of TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy) have already begun campaigning assuming they are the final pick. Similarly, at Munugode, Palla Venkat Reddy from CPI and Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy from Congress are busy asking the public for votes. Same is the case at Alair where Bandru Shobha Rani from TDP and B Bikshamaiah Goud from Congress are pitted against each other.

In contrast, the TRS, which has announced most of its candidates, seems to have it all figured out. However, it is not all rosy a picture for TRS either. At many places, these candidates are facing pressure within the party as senior leaders continue meeting and pacifying the dissidents.
