More passengers to expect in Ameerpet-Hitech City metro line

Hyderabad: The most awaited Ameerpet-Hitech City metro line is expected to witness heavy footfall compared to other corridors once the operations commenced. The HMR which began the trail runs is prepping up to get the inspection done and clearance by the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS).The launch of the metro route between Ameerpet and Hitec City will ease the traffic congestion and bring a huge relief to the commuters from the traffic snarls.

The HMR officials are planning to launch the metro services at the earliest sensing its demand in the IT corridor. The metro line has to undergo a rigorous in various aspects like technical, security and amenities before getting certified by CMRS team.It is also learned that the metro officials are planning to operate the services in twin single line method in which the trains are being run on the double track in both up and down directions on the same line.
